Hello,
my iphone recently stopped working, when i start it up a apple logo comes on then the screen go's black and repeats.
I think it has something to do with the com board.
any ideas?
inb4 get a new phone
Plug it into your computer and use the restore function..
Can't. the iphone dosen't stay powered long enough to establish a usb connection.
bring it to an apple store, because they obviously know what they're doing :downs:
I'm going for a DYO (do your own) repair here.
Just go to apple store, bring your phone, tell them it's not working, they give you a new one. Sync new one from PC and it's exactly like your old phone. Honestly... it's free too.
Its out of warranty, if i brought it in i would have to shell out 200$ witch i don't have.
Is it jailbroken?

Googling "iPhone constant restart" got me this:

No it is not jail-broken. i tried that guide to no avail. the usb thing came up then it restarted.
Do you have a wall charger? I don't know about newer ones, but when the battery gets that low on my 5g ipod it won't charge from my computer.

Wall charger for the iphone?

What do you mean?
The "Wall charger" isn't specific to the iPhone, it's just a "Outlet>5V USB" adapter that Apple made.
It can be used to charge any USB device that supports charging.
I Think one or two things happen,
Something came unsolder'd or
the com board fried.
Going to order a broken iphone and switch out parts.
