http://www.memorytesters.com/ramcheck/ddr2_sodimm.htm They have them --^ But they say only for testing... where can I find some for regular daily use? I have tons of DDR2 SODIMMs laying around, and I'd like to use them in desktop systems.
It might work on your computer. But I wouldn't count on it. Or even try it. Ram is... well, important, and having something between the connectors increase distance to the motherboard (okay, not dramatically, but it still does) could lead to timing problems. You can have a ram stick of exact specifications but it can still happen that the motherboard does not support it and might cock up every few minutes. A better idea: Sell them. It'll save you days of raging because ram would be incompatible/burn out/god knows what.

Yeah, that's even worse than regular signing.
I thought it was cool lol.. Just this once. I vote same as first guy, sell them, they'll be more of a pain than anything else.
[img_thumb]http://img709.imageshack.us/img709/3052/signatureky.png[/img_thumb]
You have made this thread to post this.
You have made this thread to post this.
No, just something I add to my OP when I make threads. I really need to use this DDR2 I have here. Perhaps there are ram-drives I can make out of them?
If they are cheap, I would say go for it. At the least, 512mb DDR2 SODIMM modules gorw on fucking trees where I work.
no

[img_thumb]http://img709.imageshack.us/img709/3052/signatureky.png[/img_thumb]
oh my fucking god hahahahahahahaha [editline]17th October 2010[/editline]
I really need to use this DDR2 I have here.
No, you don't. Sell them.

RAM converter? Is this a joke?
why would you want that
why would you want that [img_thumb]http://gyazo.com/39559ea975bf2fbc74314c0d04ad8603.png[/img_thumb]
Because I have the spare RAM hanging around, and it's not like I'll be playing games with it... I'm just wanting to use them mostly for PC repair, but for regular things as well like surfing the internet and Word documentation. Nothing super memory-intensive.
you would be better off selling them

Hey, lets all put cool graphics next to our signature!
