i was just about to buy crysis 2 A DAY before it went offline in the steam store, so i bought Fear 3 instead

If I can't get it on Steam, I'm not going to buy it off another digital download service. I'll just grab a boxed copy later. I'm not going to be getting this game until it's $20 - $30.

Is it me or is this stuff like the DX11 patch and the editor coming out months later a sign they were a little behind on development? It's nice that they are releasing this stuff free of charge, it shows some acknowledgement for the PC community, but it should have come sooner.

Get it on Sale. I still think it's not worth it because no mods are really out yet. But once the community kicks into gear, I think it will be.

It is when the game had them since release, they just weren't shipped. Portal 2 got an SDK in a few weeks.
