If I were to by a computer that could run TF2 at full spec how much would I be expecting to pay?
£400 - £500 I'd say. TF2 isn't exactly demanding. [editline]16th October 2010[/editline] Not including monitors and OS.
Do you have any examples?
Build it custom.
Build it custom.
Well duh he's posted in the PC Build section. You won't be needing to spend much cash on a PC that can handle TF2 well. Although tailoring a PC for TF2 sounds a little short sighted, don't you think you should prepare for more graphically demanding games due for release? Unless of course you aren't interested in playing them. In which case go nuts.
Depends of your resolution, OP
Why does Heavy2 rate everyone optimistic?
he must be very bored.

^OS?
Can't he get a 4890 in there the 5670 is pretty bad
4800 Series or 4890 are much better
^OS?
:smug:
Can't he get a 4890 in there the 5670 is pretty bad
He asked for a PC to run TF2 on, nothing more, nothing less. 5670= 8800GT. It's more than enough for TF2.

You could probably get a TF2 PC for like 300 dollars.

And 5670 is really bad in performance/price [editline]20th October 2010[/editline] I don't get why you people recommend this card
Can't he get a 4890 in there the 5670 is pretty bad
It runs tf2 perfectly.
£400 - £500 I'd say. TF2 isn't exactly demanding. [editline]16th October 2010[/editline] Not including monitors and OS.
even that is too high for TF2
4850 Tricore AthlonII 2 GB RAM Windows 32 bit + some decent PSU, case, and stuff $450?
why 32 bit?
why 32 bit?
Because of 2 GB RAM
Stop spamming the ratings, heavy2...
But i love you.
Because of 2 GB RAM
then he gets nerfed if he wants to expand his ram amount later
then he gets nerfed if he wants to expand his ram amount later
I was just trying to get the cheapest build that can max TF2. If he got 64 bit and 4 gigs he would need an extra $30 or so, which is worth it. But yeah just posting cheapest build.
