• DNS not responding.

I just got a new router, (from charter) and the PC that is hooked up in the other room is now getting the error. "DNS not Responding." yet, some times it shows the internet as connected and working. The PC is hooked up to another router, which in turn is connected the one that was just set up. Two other PCs that are directly connected to the new router work fine, as well as anything connecting to the wireless as well. I've tried several fixes, and running it in safe mode with networking as well, yet has nothing has worked. At the moment, I'm at a loss on what to try next.
try changing your dns servers [editline]11th May 2013[/editline] https://developers.google.com/speed/public-dns/
Just gave this a shot. Still having the same problem. Edit: I've just moved the PC and hooked it up directly to the router, and it's working now. Time to move it back.
Were you using wireless?
I bought a cheap router with not enough RAM whose DNS service crashes if I connect more than two devices. Maybe the problem is similar?
