fffffffff I dont know what to do.
That's not really high. I wonder why HWMonitor only shows 1 card though
actually thats not bad. now leave hwmonitor running and play a game thats graphically intensive so it heats up. then show us the max temps it reached.

CCC shows crossfire is on.
Ok brb loading crysis.
[editline]22nd April 2011[/editline]
Ok, the temp is 74-75c when playing crysis. And crysis is a fucking rainbow.

Let's see. Try running Furmark. This thing should detect temps for both cards. Maybe only one of them is overheating.
[editline]22nd April 2011[/editline]
Also it looks like it's raining confetti :v:

It didnt show the temps tho
Weird, it should show temps in a graph on the bottom of the screen and on the upper right.
Wow, you really raped that benchmark, my HD 4870 can't even dream of getting 40 FPS on Furmark :smith:

Hmm.. Well.. i dont know what to do.
I dont want to spend a bunch of money going to geeksquad or whatever.
Do you know what I can do? Like could you add me on steam if you have an idea? I cant play any games without it being really flashy and lots of color stuff.
you have to replace them. quite simple really.

Oh god not geeksquad
Open that thing up and remove one card, see if there's still confetti.
If there is, swap the card. If there's still confetti, it may be a driver problem. If that still doesn't fix it, you're the unluckiest guy in the world with 2 defective graphics cards.

Yea geeksquad. I hate them, but thats the local computer "repair". Thats my very very last option.
so a few questions
1. So should I try installing new drivers first?
2. Which card should I take out? The first one?
3. What do you mean by swap the card? Buy a new one and replace it?

1. Yeah, you should try reinstalling drivers first :v:
- Uninstall Catalyst Control Center from "add/remove programs"
- Download DriverSweeper , run it and remove anything related to ATi/Catalyst/CCC
- Download the latest drivers from the AMD website, not Steam since they seem to have some problems
- Install the drivers you just downloaded
- Bam, it should be fixed if it's a driver problem
2. Take any card out, you should have 2 in there
3. You have 2 cards. Once you removed one, if there's still confetti, replace it with the other one

Ok, well.. It wasnt a driver problem. And let me be sure, your saying take out one to see which is the defective one then switch their places? or just take the defective one out all together

Find which one is defective and take it out.
Is it a pre-built? If it is, give the company who made it a call and tell them you have a defective graphics card, they'll send you a shipping ticket, you'll ship the card and they'll send you a new one in return :buddy:
If it's custom built, RMA the card.

Nah.. I custom built it. And RMA means :downs:?
"Return merchandise authorization". Basically, contact the manufacturer (MSI, ASUS, EVGA, whatever) and they'll give you instructions about how to get your shit repaired or replaced.
If they don't carry your product anymore you might even get a free upgrade.
