And to think that 20 minutes ago I was about to trade my Deus set in TF2 for this.

Warband, I mean.
Tempted to get Fire & Sword mostly for the multiplayer.
Can anyone tell me whether or not the mp is more active than Warband's?
I tell you what sucks?
My mate bought this like a couple of hours ago for $7.50.
even though it's still cheap i find it kinda funny.
So I already own M&B, should I get Warband or Fire and Sword?
I would say yes, It's certainly fun when its 1v7 and you take out everyone while hiding behind cover and shooting people.
I've been looking to give this series a try, is Warband the best one?
Fire & Sword is alright, not really all that spectacular. Warband is fun as hell, especially MP.
As a person who bought Fire & Sword when it first came out, I must say that it was a disappointment. There are mods that add guns to Warband that are the exact same thing.

to me it felt unfinished and the guns were way overpowered.
how is the game now anyway? I haven't played it since Release
Bought F&S after watching a bunch of videos.
I probably would've been content with Warband if the Mount & Musket mod had servers that were just Siege instead of all Battle.
I personally can't stand round based game modes where you have to sit out the match after dying.
I had Fire & Sword preordered. People did complain about it but I thought it was a lot of fun. They released a few patches to balance it out as well. I'd say it's worth getting, especially at a price like that.
Warband and Fire & Sword are both good games, but I would suggest getting Warband since it's a lot better than F&S and has larger variety of mods to choose from.
Describe the M&B games to me. :v:
basically the best and simplest fighting system, instead of having stuff like block for one button/attack on another only, it actually requires skill
you can block enemy attacks from top, bottom, left and right, and you can attack from these directions as well. You can survive if you block the enemy attack right (You can see where his slash/thrust is coming from), and kill him if you trick him into blocking an attack from a direction other than you are actually attacking.
This game has 2handed swords, 1h swords, axes, polearms, throwable stuff, bows, crossbows, helmets, gloves, lances, armors, legs, horses and everything.
Multiplayer games are the best tho, especially on mods like Mount and Musket which is based on bayonet combat mostly (and sometimes epic officer sword duels), or crpg which is basically MnB multiplayer but with more stuff you can buy using in-game money (no pay2win stuff), online stats (agility, strenght, no magic n spells)
Get Mount and Blade: Warband, it's the best MnB - it's like upgraded MnB1 (fixes, more content, the fact is that buying mnb instead of mnb:w is dumb as heck), and With Fire and Sword is a buggy Mnb:W with really badly done stuff and low quality.
warband warband
Also I guess Magicka day tomorrow since that's what I said all these past 4 days.

With this, I meant which one should I get? I don't play MP or anything, so would Warband or F&S provide better SP?
Warband.

Stick 'em with the pointy end.
Pretty much.
Warband is easily the best of them, it's original M&B with more stuff and awesome multiplayer but I don't understand why people complain about F&S. It's not quite as good as Warband imo but it's definitely a lot of fun and CERTAINLY worth $4 or whatever it is. Plus, I like that it's shifted into history instead of fantasy.
Plus, if you play Warband online and are decent, you get to kill everyone in F&S because they all suck. :D

Warband definately, has mod support, a well established mod community and a shit ton of mods.

Warband has better mod support but the F&S SP is quite a bit more fleshed out sans mods.
You're missing out on a lot of fun if you skip MP though.
Why is With Fire and Sword cheaper than all the other M&B games?
Had the original Mount and Blade for a while now, amazing game, not sure about Warband or Fire and Sword.
Also, I'm guessing that it is indeed Magicka day tomorrow...and Since it is Magicka, the DLC horse, it will get a new DLC tomorrow. Probably something about gamers or the like.
So I already own M&B, should I get Warband or Fire and Sword?
Get Warband.
It's alot better than Fire and Sword in my opinion, plus its got a crapload of mods for it.
M&B has the single best melee combat model I have ever used in a game.
I've easily put more hours into Warband than any other Indie title offered on Steam. It's truly spectacular.
