I got Trend Micro: PC-Cillin and it's worked fabulously.
its only a trial right?
If you want a good firewall + antivirus, try Comodo Firewall. http://personalfirewall.comodo.com/
No, I paid for it. Damn worth it too. It offers protection for up to 3 computers.
darn wippersnappers and their money, and fancy expensive software
or some euros
I found avira to be reliable
or some euros
nope valve i live in america
or won
Trend Micro is flawless and it finds viruses all the time, it was worth the $50 and it works on 3 computers. Go to bestbuy and buy a cd.
Or any other type of currency. :smug: Ninjas!!!!
Well I use BitDefender and it hasn't given me any trouble so far .
Or any other type of currency. :smug: Ninjas!!!!
or in chickens
AVG free
Avast, , , is, good,.
Avast! if you don't mind it playing an annoying ass alarm every time it -thinks- there might be a virus on your computer.
i already said no avast! it slows down my comp
I heard NOD was good.
ive heard the nod32 has ram usage issues
I don't know how to gauge this, but when I go into control panel and then processes, nod32 lists in at around 32,000~ K

should i get microsofts (probably crappy) anti-virus software?
i already said no avast! it slows down my comp
If your computer is that crap then all AV software will slow it down. Avast has very modest system requirements: Pentium class Processor, 64MB RAM (128MB recommended) and 100MB of free hard disk space
should i get microsofts (probably crappy) anti-virus software?
Security Essentials is good.
Panda antivirus. Extremely useful. Kills EVERYTHING BAD. Instantly. There is the quarantine feature, which is useful. Sure, there is one file it has that will bash your computer to a pulp (super slow) for an hour every 3 weeks or so, but I quarantine it. (It is just searching for any hiding things that may have changed and is not ESSENTIAL, but it does help a tad.) Other that one file that is easily taken care of, I have yet to get a virus. (10/10)
AVG free or Malware Bytes Don't install multiple anti virus software because they counteract with eachother and fuck your computer up. That's what happened to my computer. Don't get Norton or McAffee.
oh god i got mcafee
kaspersky works for me
avg sucks get avast
Avira. Or Eset.
Trend Micro works great, the only bad thing it's done to me is block a few sites and that can be fixed.
