What is IB Updater Service and how to get rid of it?

Hello,
Does anyone know what IB Updater Service is and why did it suddenly show on my browser (i use Mozilla Firefox)? What does it do? And how can I remove it? It seems rather fishy to me.. Is it a virus or something like that? Thanks!

It's a toolbar, so yeah it's malware. Google for instructions

It turned out that it is not really a virus, but it's still something that I better not have in my PC. I googled IB Updater service and i found an [URL="http://www.xp-vista.com/spyware-removal/ib-updater-service-removal-guide"]article[/URL] that has a removal guide, that i followed, but it also said that it isn't enough, so yeah, I downloaded adwcleaner (another person recommended it) and [URL="http://www.malwarebytes.org"]malwarebytes[/URL] (i didn't have any antivirus protection at the moment)
And so i did a scan with it also and the second one says that everything is fine, i hope it really is.
