I can't play any flash videos, they just freeze after about a second. It's the same thing for ie, chrome, and firefox. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling and nothing happened...
I was thinking of reformatting in a week or two anyway, might just do it tomorrow.

If you're already planning a reformat, then go through with it. There's no point in me explaining some convoluted method of fixing this problem if you're going to start with a clean slate soon anyway.
