Played it for a few minutes.
Looks better than the 2012, but I still find the animations too robotic and many times the animations won't blend properly from one to another, so there are times you can clearly see the player teleporting from a position to another, which sucks because Konami had like 3 years to atleast fix or add a decent blending system to one of their PES versions.
Sadly, it seems they don't care about those things since many will buy the game anyway.
Anyway, the gameplay looks almost the same, probably only playing it a lot will let me see the differences.
The movements to me seem far more fluid, not as fluid as FIFA 12 or PES 6, but it's not as bad as the other versions, actually I found it quite decent and it's probably the first time since PES 6 where I don't feel like asking Seabass "What the fuck are you smoking?" and ALT+F4'ing right away.
The worse part about the demo is that they copied the tactical defending from FIFA. Now don't get me wrong I'm not the one to scream bloody murder when rivals implement something that worked in other game, except tactical defending is shit. It seems a bit better here because you can actually close down a bit, instead of always keeping a 50 meter distance and when you tackle them the player doesn't just stand there looking like an idiot if he misses. Plus PES defending AI is much better than FIFA's so it's usually easier to defend and you don't feel constantly betrayed by your team.
So I don't know, I think it's kinda of a mixed bag a this time, it's something I can actually play now so that's a start but still isn't as good as PES 6 and maybe not even as good as FIFA 12, even with the horrible defence system in it. I'll wait for the 2nd demo and FIFA 13 demo.
