I regularly ssh into my iphone to transfer movies, apps and themes, if i go to the directory [HAL64]://System/Library/Carrier Bundles/iPhone there are a bunch of folders with names of network, at the moment im on O2, exept i tried this video on youtube to get iPhone 3gs on 5.1 to work on T mobile (I am on orange but the networks are owned by the same combany so i thought it was close enough) when i look on my settings it says i am on orange, but i cant seem to get a signal very often, and even when i did, i got my friend to call me and it just said i was unavailable. i want to know if there is a way i can just drag and drop a file into that folder that makes my phone work on orange?
No. Carrier locks are done within the baseband firmware, not files in the kernel.

Ok, so i just have to wait for the next ultrasn0w patch then?
Yes, or have your carrier remote unlock it for you (assuming that they support it)
