Are there any UK charities out there that collect used games? I want to give away all of my xbox 360 games as I don't play them anymore, and I'd rather them go somewhere where they would be used by disadvantaged kids instead of trading in at a game store e.g. some youth club somewhere?
You could probably walk into any youth club and offer them and I'm sure they'd accept (if they have an xbox)
I can't name any charities specifically for video games, but most youth clubs, homeless hostels and even children's hospitals would gladly accept donations like that.
Some libraries also! My local library has a section full of consoles with a few old as shit games there.
It really warms my heart to know that there's people out there that think to do this, rather than just wanting to sell them.
