(I just threw in a high watt/low price PSU.) (this is my 2nd online-build.) (Also if someone could give the approximate graphics settings that the games below could run well with this build, please do<3) Arma 2 Minecraft Source games (Not too worried. these run near perfect on my current $500 laptop hue) Battlefield 3 Arma 3 Also, would it do very well recording DURING these games? (With Dxtory/fraps) Cheers
Get the asus z97-a instead, its a way better mb. Msi is way skimpy on their vrms amd z97 overclocks better. I would get a 280x instead for $260 or reach out a bit and get the 290 for $360. Get the 600w for $50. Get the 200r? Get the a-data ram.
Get the a-data ram.
No difference
Other than the frequency...
Yeah. Although RAM speed does not matter much, 1333cl9 is where you start to have noticeable slowdowns.

Sorry about that :c Thanks for the improved part list, I'm bad at this at would do bad if not for you guys.

There's no real reason not to get it
Still sucks
Have you even used it?
Have you even used it?
Yeap, my mom's laptop runs windows 8
Its literally identical to 7
Always buy Seasonic power supplies. Corsair CX series have garbage capacitors.
Corsair psus are rebranded seasonic
Corsair psus are rebranded seasonic
Not true. The AX series are rebranded seasonics. The CX series are Channelwell, with the exception of the CX400 [editline]31st May 2014[/editline] http://whirlpool.net.au/wiki/psu_manufacturers [editline]31st May 2014[/editline] Generally seasonic PSU's are what you want to look for for high wattage, while FSP's are good for budgets
Oh I was thinking of the AX then. CWT is still a good manufacturer. I've never used an XFX psu, but I just noticed theyre built by seasonic. Why don't more people recommend xfx for budget builds? $30 for a 550w seasonic build is a pretty good deal. I wish they made semi modular psus around the same price range as the cx.
NZXT psu's are damn nice too.
XFX's are very nice. I'm most likely picking up this bad boy when I pick up my second 680.
