You don't go releasing a multiplatformer then go full on exclusive, and I sure as hell ain't getting a xbox one, in other words, their loss. Apparently they don't don't want our money.
They just alienated over half of their fanbase. Their loss. I was actually looking forward to the sequel to one of my most favorite games of last year, but not anymore. Xbone can keep its 867p 30fps rubbish.
It's cool that you closed a deal with MS and all, but please don't bullshit your previous consumers with "Oh you can still get Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris, we're not walking away from you guys".
I swear, third party exclusive deals like this is the thing that make me not want to get that system. You got the money to make a AAA game, hooray. To bad it's going to run like shit.
Maybe it was the case that Squeenix wasn't going to give them enough money so they looked for outside help such as M$ who helped fund the game which other wise would not have been made? Only reason I think this is that, apparently Tomb Raider didn't sell as much as they wanted (even though it was a hit) and Squeenix didn't want to risk it?
Gee, what a fucking stupid decision.
Haha yeah like anyone's going to buy a xbox one for fucking tomb raider
Good thinking microsoft that'll save your numbers

The best part is that they didn't even announce a bundle.
Just like Dead Rising 3 and Ryse: Son of Rome were exclusives?
I'm disappoint, just like when I think about that Lemmings will never be multi-platform (like on PC) because of Sony.
So the game series that started out on PC and Playstation has now become an Xbox exclusive...

No such thing as consumer fidelization in this business.
That's a real shame. I've barely played any TR games but really enjoyed the reboot and was definitely planning on getting the next release.
Et tu Crystal Dynamics?
It looks like Rise of the Tomb Raider isn't coming out on PC
Well, i guess im not buying it then.
Just like Dead Rising 3 and Ryse: Son of Rome were exclusives?
considering the state of xbox'x other 3rd party exclusives i will not be surprised when it gets a PC release
Perhaps it was a Bayonetta 2-style situation?
Spoke to many people here at Xbox press conference on Tomb Raider. Official line is that the game is "exclusive on Xbox for holiday 2015."
Wait what.
How on earth do you convince someone to change a multiplatform to an exclusive for the console thats doing the worst right now?
They must want the game to fail or something.

"Exclusive" for a limited time. Fucking stupidity of this is off the rails.

Upfront cash proposal from Microshills. I like how the Dev is trying to apologize for a corporate decision, but there's no way they can come out of this without looking like assholes.
I really hope they have a timed exclusive clause on that contract, otherwise they're gonna lose money.
Perhaps it was a Bayonetta 2-style situation?
Nah Nintendo is publishing Bayonetta 2, doesn't look like Microsoft is publishing this game.
People would still bitch if it turned out that way though.

It was a failure to SEnix's eyes because it didn't sell some absurd number (like 200 million or some shit like that)
I love how badly this has backfired. Instead of it making people buy Xbones, it's making people not buy Tomb Raider.
Holy crap, this was retarded.
Wasn't Tomb Raider as a multi-platform game not having as much sales as they wanted anyway? This sure as shit ain't gonna help.
It was a failure to SEnix's eyes because it didn't sell some absurd number (like 200 million or some shit like that)
heads at square enix must be retarded
also it wasn't 200 million
they expected it to sell six million in the first month when it sold 3.4 million
(like 200 million or some shit like that)
They never expected to sell 200 million copies in 1 month, you're 194 million off.
Recently completed Tomb Raider, was a great game, I'm pissed off at this though as I'd of probably of pre ordered if it was like the first + more
Just like Dead Rising 3 and Ryse: Son of Rome were exclusives?
Ryse was never advertised as an exclusive. They made it very clear it was a timed exclusive.
Wow, fuck you too Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics. I liked the reboot too and was passively looking forward to the next one. Thanks for fuck all.
