If you have windows 7 ultimate you can also use bitlocker. Though I think Truecrypt is the better option.

BitLocker is shit. Sorry man, but Microsoft did not deliver on that one. I don't have any facts on my side, but my experiences was bad, and I won't use it again.
TrueCrypt works. Very well indeed actually.
