Hey all, I've just picked up an 8gig flash drive and it isn't showing up when I plug it in. It obviously has power, lights up and all, but nothing in my computer, and nothing in disk management. It's a 3.0 drive, and I've tried it in both 3.0 ports and 2.0 ports. All other drives show up just fine. Bad drive perhaps?
Probably so. Have you tried it in on a different computer or even OS?
Yeah. Got it from work, and we just RMA'd a 32gig of the same make we got at the same time now that I think of it. Haven't even paid for it yet, hopefully my boss will just replace it.
Go to your device manager and check if you're missing your USB device drivers.
If you are, download them from your motherboard's driver site.
My 2 other drives show up fine. Also all drivers are fine.
