CPU: Intel i5 3570k
CPU Cooling: Corsair H100i
Motherboard: ASUS Maximus V Formula
Memory: Corsair Dominator Platinum 16GB 2133MHz
Graphics: 2 x ASUS GeForce GTX 660 Ti DirectCU II OC 2GB
Power Supply: Corsair AX860i
Storage: Samsung 840 Pro Series 256GB SSD
Secondary Storage: 2 x WD Black 2TB
Case: Corsair Vengeance C70
This is my first build; just making sure its up to scratch before I finalise anything. Though I do have a couple of questions.
Firstly, is the AX860i going to provide enough power, or am I pushing it? Should I instead go for an AX1200i just to be sure, and allow for later expansion?
And, would it be better to go with 16GB (4x4GB) 2133MHz, or 32GB (4x8GB) 1600MHz for another ~40 AUD? I have always found the concept of memory speed to be confusing; though from what I have heard, its makes a relatively miniscule difference in the long run.
This build is mainly for gaming, and I want it to last the next 4-5 years (hopefully more) before having to upgrade again.

8GB-16GB is more than enough.
First off, there's no such thing as futureproofing. That's not to say you can't make a computer last and be relative for a long time, it's just that nobody knows what could be around the corner in the technology world.
Get 1600MHz RAM. 16gb is already overkill, but 2133MHz is entirely pointless for gaming. You could use 8gb and play 4 games at once if you wanted.
Never start off with an SLI setup, especially since most games won't fully utilize a multi card setup. Pick up an HD 7950 or 7970 now and get another if you feel like you need it a couple years down the road.
Motherboard is also overkill, it's just gimmicky gaym3r shit. I'm going to assume you're using pccasegear.com and recommend http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=138_1183&products_id=21537 or something closer to $200. The MSI MPOWER is one of the best performing Z77 boards and is at a great price point.
860W is more than enough, you could power an SLI 690 build with it.
Your assumption is correct :v:
I've been eyeing off MSI's MPOWER since it came out, and over the past months have been juggling it and the Formula around in my head.
I guess I'll swap out the Formula for the MPOWER; as well as scrap the 660 Ti setup for a matching MSI GTX 680 Lightning.
Thanks for the help, guys.
