I really want to record some of the games I've been playing. I've considered Fraps but I really don't want to pay and apparently it has compression issues, and my hard drive isn't that large. I also heard of MSi Afterburner, but I have an Nvidia card. Any recommendations?
FYI... you can have an msi nvidia card!!!
I have an Nvidia GeForce 440 GT, I'm not sure if that works.
of all the screen recording programs ive tried, not one of them has been able to record the games audio and my microphone at the same time
FFSplit is a pretty good one, but it's pretty resource hungry if you go for anything over 720p. Also Dxtory can do that, you just need to set up two audio sources.
I notice Dxtory has a free version and a paid version, but the site doesn't say what sorts of limitations the free version has. Anyone feel like informing me?
bumping because nobody answered my question
I believe the only limit was a watermark such as the one in this video: I don't remember there being any others.
You dont need an MSI card to use MSI afterburner. I have a Sapphire 6870 and an XFX 6870 and I use afterburner just fine.
