I recently purchased a high-end HP laptop. It never overheats, it's sturdy and works perfectly. I hope HP pulls through, I've always been satisfied with their products.
they said they weren't going to do that AGES ago

Hold a charge well too.
I used to have an HP laptop. It was good. Now I have an HP printer. It is bad.
I had a HP netbook, it ran terribly and the battery died after 2 months, even though I was careful to never leave it plugged in to the wall for longer than necessary, and using it down to 10% then charging all the way back up to full.
HP still is a good company. I'd like them to stay around and keep with Dell. We don't really have many big comp companies besides many Acer, Asus, etc.
Probably because all their printer ink customers had to declare bankruptcy.
HP made good test gear until they sold that division.
