Alright so I've had the Zune since October and my Windows 7 OS since February. Anyways, it was going fine, everything working okay until one day it decides to do what my other two Zune 30 Gigs did... Stop syncing. I've tried literally everything on Zune's help boards and FAQs, nothing is really working. I still have the paperwork, so I can return it, but what the hell. I would love to be able to get it to sync.
Being a genius, after multiple attempts of syncing the Zune and doing every trick in the book (mentioned on Zune help forums), I decided to reset the Zune to factory defaults and clear the OS so I could reinstall from a clean slate. So now not only am I stuck without the music that was originally on my Zune, I don't even have a pretty GUI to look at!
What the hell. Please don't post about getting an iPod, because if all else fails and I end up with a refurb Zune, I'm selling it the second I get it and buying an iTouch.
PLEASE! I'm willing to try anything!
Uninstall the Zune software, use a direct motherboard USB port, reinstall the software, then plug in your Zune and see if it installs the drivers.

I've done this, but I'll try again. When it prompts you to uninstall the driver along with the Zune software, do you delete drivers or keep them?

WHAT THE HELL. I go to plug it in for the first time in like 3 months and it finally recognizes it and everything, no hassle. It's updating to the newest software version. Let's pray it works.
But I didn't even touch the drivers or uninstall the software, I just plugged it in for shits and gigs.
