They are at a point where any movie they do will generate a huge profit for them, regardless of quality.

How was Starcraft or Diablo 1 and 2 badly written exactly?

For me starcraft 1 has a unique style. The units, buildings and the maps manage to make you feel something. I mean the design of everything and the colors , the enviroments and all that shit gave you that feeling of no hope. I could actually feel shit for the marines. I loved sc2 but it's so clean if you knwo what i am saying. The desperation has to be felt through the images of the games and not marine parts flying around . It simply becomes generic sci-fi humas vs Aliens. So i think that a starcraft movie would just be a generic sci-fi movie.

You could legit make a pretty cool pseudo-medieval horror movie about Diablo 1 and the three classes as characters that end up working together
