• 2 months with limited internet - what SP/Lan games are required?

in a few days i'll be working for 2 months away from home with limited or hardly any internet. I'll bring my laptop but what games SP games should I bring? The laptop is decent and can play most games but I would prefer older games. If these happen to be lan games that would be even better because my friend will be there as well.
All fallout games. To The Moon. Torchlight 1+2 FTL Spec Ops: The Line Receiver Kerbal Space Program Mount and Blade: Warband Skyrim That's all I can think of off the top of my head. Have good travels.
Star Wars Battlefront II Star Wars Jedi Knight II SimCity 4 The Hitman series The GTA series and whatever else comes to mind later.
You may be already aware of this, but I'll say it anyways. Good Old Games is going to be your best friend. No DRM whatsoever and the older games are patched to work with newer Windows operating systems. Check to see if they have some of your favorite childhood classics, or one of those games you never got around to playing. As far as multiplayer goes, you will get the most bang for your buck from real-time strategy games. Just goto the strategy game section and filter by multiplayer and see if anything strikes your fancy. Neverwinter Nights 2 can also be fun to play with a friend in a D&D style campaign. If you can find a retail copy of Civ IV either online or in a store, you'd probably be set on needing a game to play for a month, assuming of course that you like strategy games.
Diablo 2~
Rome and Medieval 2 Total War
