Ok, that kind of disappoints me a little bit. Probably due to licenses and shit with broadcasters. :(

Probably going to partner with Comcast. :\

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$squeezin' for cash$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Well I guess that means I can't play Call of Duty while recording The Voice all on the same device :(
BUT I THOUGHT IT WAS ALL-IN-ONE, MICROSOFT
So it's a glorified TV box that can't record TV?
gg microsoft
hmm, we have a device that takes in live tv
what should it do?
oh I know, how about NOT RECORD LIVE TV
A++

So we have to hook up our DVR/Tivo box to the nextbox to even use the TV features.
So this thing is just a giant fucking remote that happens to play games?

Wait, doesn't the Wii U do this while not needing to be attached to your DVR?
This just made me not care about this in the slightest for TV. I understand why they did it, they can't get deals with TV networks when every TV network HATES dvr with such a passion as to throw regular hissy fits about it, but you just made your all in one device have better alternatives now.
