I got a Rust beta key back in 2013 for the drawing contest. Can I still use this key to play rust on steam now?

Yeah it was before Steam. Would be nice if I could redeem it.
There was a point where if you hadn't played for like a month your key and account got deactivated, so you might've been a victim to that.
However, if you are fairly certain you were active during that period, maybe check out the support page on the website? I know there was a page for transferring your account to a Steam key but I can't find it via google with all the dumbass account trading websites and shit and the [noparse]old.playrust.com [/noparse] domain leads to nothing
There used to be a way to redeem your alpha key for a Steam key, but that site is looooong dead. Your only hope is to contact Facepunch Support in a ticket and hope they'll do it manually for you.
