Finally got the funds for a new computer and this is what I have in mind: Final list: -http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.564600 -http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227393 -http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835118019 -http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16832116754&cm_re=windows_7-_-32-116-754-_-Product -http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145218 -http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130550 -http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=17-139-005&SortField=0&SummaryType=0&Pagesize=10&PurchaseMark=&SelectedRating=-1&VideoOnlyMark=False&VendorMark=&IsFeedbackTab=true&Page=3#scrollFullInfo About to order.
Lifetime warrenty: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150506&cm_re=6870-_-14-150-506-_-Product Everyone seems to be suggesting the Hyper 212+ CPU cooler, so here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103065&cm_re=hyper_212%2b-_-35-103-065-_-Product And if you want to install Windows more than once, you can't go OEM. [editline]19th December 2010[/editline] And I don't like the PSU, but I couldn't find anything else with 4x6-pin connectors at that price point.
The PSU price has a little wiggle room. I was under the impression you could install Windows multiple times with OEM; I bought OEM 32 bit a while back and I have used it a few times. [editline]19th December 2010[/editline] How about this PSU? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817171052 Or this one? I have looked at benchmarks and reviews and they seem to have very similar performance.
I think the deal with OEM OS's is that it's registered to your hardware, so if you get a new computer it won't work
Oh, well that's fine because I won't be getting a new one for a long time after this one. I wanted to get this 470: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125338&cm_re=470-_-14-125-338-_-Product Reviews say it's a lot cooler than stock.
That is a bit out of my price range, my budget is fairly tight.
if you want to spend the least there's an 6870 for $220 on newegg
No that's not part of the issue, what I have now is perfect in price so I just need to know that everything is compatible and if there are better options for similar pricing. Thank you though.
You don't have a CD/DVD burner, in case you didn't notice :v:
