Firefox bug I don't know how to deal with, would like immediate solution

This just started happening yesterday where if I open a new tab past the one I start with when I open Firefox I cannot connect to ANY website no matter how many tabs I make. Even closing out my first tab and replacing it with another (still having one tab open) I can't connect to any website. I don't have issues with my first tab, but anything after the first tab just straight up doesn't connect. This is a weird issue that I don't even know how to google so I'm seeing if anyone else has experienced this.
Yep had the same bug, you have to do a firefox refresh which basically resets a lot of settings and keeps your cookies, logins, passwords etc.
They are also gonna get rid of old extensions soon so yeah.
I'm guessing other browsers (e.g. Internet Explorer) work.
Firstly, make sure Firefox is up to date. I think it's either File > About Firefox or Help > About Firefox, to check for updates. The latest version as of this post is 56.0.
If that doesn't work, then go to Firefox preferences and scroll right to the bottom where "Network Proxy" is and go on the settings for that. If that's set to Use system proxy settings, try "No proxy".
If that doesn't work, it's possible that you may have an addon interfering with the connection, so I'd tried disabling all your addons and see if it works.
If you still have issues after trying these, let me know

Internet explorer is a better solution because it's preinstalled.
Are you able to load the new tab page?
Or is it just a white screen, this is actually pretty important
