I workout quiet alot but for the past weeks I have been very limited to what I have been able to do due to a back strain and I feel like I have put on some fat even if I weight the same, so I was wondering if anyone had some easy meal plans through out the day. I would be really thankful if someone could give me some advice ^^.
My current plan is:
Breakfast-Protein bar or nature valley bar
Lunch-Hotpocket (I really need something much healthier)
Snake:skip (I need one thats lights
Dinner: Usually what my mom cooks (no problems here since she cooks healthy)
Desert: (I need something light and healthy).
I'm not sure if 5 meals are enough to boost my metabolism, so some advice would help with that also. Thank you.
I say for lunch eat some more fruits like apples and oranges. They are really good for your metabolism and heal cuts and scars much faster. Don't skip meals because your body won't absorb nutrients.
Other than that, eat your greens boy.
EDIT: Have some yoplait yogurt for desert or snacks. It doesn't sound like much, but it will pay off in the end.
