Hello! I have (finally) decided to buy a new PC! I live in Sweden, so I can't buy from newegg. My goals is mainly to play games, obviously.. But I also want as silent as possible! This is my plan: CPU: i5 3570k http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116504 RAM: CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145345 GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 670 OC http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125423 Motherboard: Asus P8Z77-V http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131824 SSD: Corsair Force GT 120GB http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233191 Power: Corsair Power Supply 600W GS 80 Plus http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139028 Close to that one, couldn't find the swedish one Case: Fractal Design Define R4 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811352020 Some extra fans Does these parts fit together? And is there better options for that money? In the future i plan to get a harddrive, cpu cooler and perhaps overclock a bit. Also, can I use a harddrive to install windows 7 on the ssd? Or do I need to buy a dvd drive?
I'd recommend a Samsung 830 SSD, and that GPU fan is going to be pretty loud. Additional fans will most likely add to the noise level as well. And overclocking is basically a goodbye to quiet PCs. You can use a USB stick to install Windows 7, I've never heard about putting install media for windows on a HDD, no idea if that would work. Also, if you don't plan on using that many HDDs, I recommend getting a case with better airflow.

I thought that more fans = less noise since they can all run slower, am I totally wrong? Could you recommend a better case?
Usually more fans equals cooler. As for the case, I hear Corsair makes good noise dampened cases, but I don't really know much about that kind of cases.
Can anyone else recommend a better case then? And does the build look good otherewise?
The gigabyte 670 doesnt make that much sound, I have one. I also have a Fractal Design Define R3 and again I can't really see anything wrong with it and if the R3 is like the R4 the intake fans will have dust filters, after 2 months I open my PC up and hardly see anything inside, I would however change the intake fan in that case since its the only thing that really makes as sound. Temp wise the case is fine
