• My computer won't start anymore

So I got home from school and start up my PC, everything's going fine, I log into my account, except when I got to the desktop the mouse wasn't working. I thought of it as a simple mouse fault, and replugged it, still no response. I decided to restart my PC, except this time, my PC won't start up AT ALL. Let me describe what happens, the lights go on, the screen stays black, the fans go from high speeds to low speeds constantly (Making tons of noise) and my computer shuts itself off and on continuously till I hold the power down and shut it off for good. I have no idea at all how this happened as the night before everything was working properly. I tried replugging wires and everything. I managed to get it on after tons of attempts, checking to see if it was actually fixed, I restart my computer and the same thing happens again. Can't seem to get it back on anymore. Hardware info just incase: ATI 4870 hd 4gb Ram 520w Power supply E8500 Help is appreciated.
Plug in your monitor to the onboard graphics and see if you get video output through it. Sounds like the video card could be dead, or PCI-E slot (which happened to me a while back)
Remove plug press power button for 30 sec and try to start it. This has happened to me to that fixed it.
Tried what your method Zambie and it didn't work, I'll try yours next Jallen. Thanks for the replies
