At least it's good to know they aren't going to rush it out.
That's almost 2 years from now, it's a long time to wait. I'm glad it was finally announced but it's kinda disappointing it was announced when it's that far away.

And if they said Q1 2014 people'd be crying that it's rushed.
I'm totally okay with waiting, I have other games to finish before I can devote the rest of my life to this game -- that is, given this is a worthy sequel to the game that claimed my middle school years.
At least it means they'll be able to spend a good amount of time developing it. Plus if it arrives around the same time as Episode 7, it'll almost certainly include some content from the film also which will be a nice bonus.

I hope they remake some of the classic maps. It just won't be Battlefront without Ren Vhar, wherever the fuck that even is.

The game was canceled by Lucasarts on 99.9% done. Then the company got canned and DICE begged to make a game on Battlefront, and so here we are now.
