Hi everyone, So today my wireless decided to bugger up, rather my PC I think. I went through all the protocols of refreshing the router, unplugging everything and so forth. I then went to troubleshoot problems and it said gateway was broken then it fixed it, then it argued at me that the phone cable was buggered. So restarting everything and doing a full virus scan did not fix anything. So I fired up my netbook and it connected to the internet fine! So now I have come to the conclusion that my wireless card is buggered. Unfortunately I don't have an ethernet cable at the moment so I cannot verify it is the cards problem. Anyone else have any suggestions? Here is the specs: Processor: i7 860 2.8Ghz wireless card: sweex LW312 300N PCI card. motherboard: GIGABYTE P55A-UD3 case: HAF922 OS: win7 Many thanks!
Managed to steal an Ethernet cable from college. Found out that the wireless card is the problem - going to get it replaced by seller under warranty.
Did you try reinstalling the latest drivers from the manufacturer's website.
