Here is what I remember:
There was a monkey as the main character.
It was animated. Had kind of a DBZ feel to it. Was in English (prolly dubbed)
He finds a power pole (much like in dbz)
He goes into the imperial guardian palace because he wants to fight the god of all things or something.
He winds up racing the Guardian (who is a silhouette of sparkling colors) around the universe and the guardian wins.
Because he lost, he is banished to be under this rock or something for ever.
He is later removed from under the rock by a nice princess (or prince).
The person who saves him from this rock does not like to play outside for fear of killing the ants he/she would step on.
Does anyone have any idea what this show may be called or any links to anything related to this?
Thank you.
Curious George?
. . . Camp Lazlo?

No one has ever been able to help me with this. Its not Curious George, or Camp Lazlo (wtf lol)

I noticed.
BTW, this show is called "Monkey Magic" it had very few episodes and got cancelled soon after starting. Luckily this show was based off of a chinese book from the 1590s translated into "Journey to the West". I have already watched all the episodes, and will likely read "Journey to the West" to finish the story. This book is freely available only in PDF format via Wikipedia.
Was it Super Monkey team robot hyper force?.. damn it got a long name for a title

Did you fall into a coma for a year and wake up thinking that it's still July '09?

I like to think that no one could help me figure this out until I asked a friend from work and he was like "Monkey Magic" right away. He had played the playstation game back then and remembered the crazy clothes the monkey wore. I actually discovered this about 2 weeks before today.
Then after recently opening a new thread regarding speakers on facepunch, I forget to save the bookmark into my "Watching" bookmark folder. So I went into my account and clicked my "Threads I stated" link. I clicked this thread as well as a couple others to see what I had said before, and thought it would be fun to finish this thread. I didn't even think about it reappearing as an active thread until I went back into the "Fast Threads" forum.
So to answer your question, no.
Edit:
On a side note, there was another childhood memory that was unlocked on that same day by the other guy I was working with. Look up the movie "Explorers" from Paramount I think it was.
