Typically when MS breaks an important feature or driver rather than roll it back they wait literal months to fix it, it's so bizarre. I remember some time around last christmas they broke skype chat ordering so that things would arrive disastrously out of order making skype extremely painful to use, and they didn't roll it back or fix it till like may v:v:
glad they're making webcams usable by multiple programs, tho
