Oh fuck off it absolutely is. When money is involved in buying something that gives you a random item of different value that shit is gambling. I guess the argument can be made when said items don't have individual value to begin with it isn't considered so, but games like cs:go and tf2 where every item has a price tied to it, that shit's gambling without a doubt.
