So my brother acquired this old computer from a 7/11, we gutted it for 2 hard drives two sticks of ram and this odd ass heat sink. I can't really use it on my motherboard because I don't have the 4 screw holes drilled in on it. I googled 'Neptune 1478' and to my surprise nothing came up, I tried to search for it on newegg and nothing came up either. I was hoping maybe a few of you knew what the hell this thing goes for, because basically I'm trying to find a price on it. It seems like a $40 part, it is mostly copper, with a bit of aluminum in the back by the fan.
It's 5 1/2 inches lengthwise and 2 3/4 of an inch wide.

Agreed.
Haha thanks, pretty sweet that he got it for free too, I might try and use it I'll have to put my computer on it's side though or else it will fall down and destroy my videocard. I modded my case out too, I drilled a huge hole in the side to fit a 120mm antec fan in it because my HP case is a peice of crap and only has one fan whole in it.
Did it look like this?

It appears to be a custom heatsink for the Neptune 1478 PC.
The cooling is stated as: " One low noise 60mm FAN (two ball) for CPU Heat-Sink and Air Tunnel", which matches with your images.
Additionally, its applications include retail/supermarket.
And this is the first result on google, so I don't know what you did wrong.
