computer will not detect mouse

I did a fresh install of Windows 7 on my computer and it will not detect my mouse whatsoever. It detects my keyboard just fine and boots up fine but when I put the mouse in it doesn't work. The mouse is a Razer Lachesis and there aren't any drivers for it so it should just work as soon as I turn the damn thing on.

Anybody know why it's doing this and how to fix it?

Also prior to this the mouse worked fine on Windows 7.
