Whenever I play a Source game, some time into that game (it could be 5 minutes, it could be 2 hours), I have a strange lockup. The game freezes and the audio locks up for about 5 seconds, then the monitor goes black. The monitors are still on, but as soon as the bug happens they tell me 'No Signal'. The PC is still on when this happens, but the audio and video outputs send nothing, not even the fact that they're connected. There is no way to fix this after it happens except for turning off my PC by holding down the power button and forcing a shutdown. This happens mostly on Garry's Mod but occasionally on other Source games.
I run an NVidia 9800 GTX+ from EVGA for my video card, 3GB of RAM, a Dual Core processor with 2.80 GHz on 32-bit Windows Vista.
Does anyone know how I can fix this?
It sounds like a driver crash, do you have the latest graphics drivers?
I updated last week, I could go again, though.
If it is my drivers I'm going to feel like such a noob. That didn't occur to me before I posted.
have you tried updating drivers?

fucking ninjas
I updated the drivers and nothing happened; I went in and started playing Fretta on Garry's Mod and didn't even get one minute before the crash.
