So I'm looking at this card here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125305
It seems that the reviews are by 15 year old school kids. I currently have a Geforce 8800gt, and want to make a reasonable upgrade. I don't want to get an ATI card, because I have just had grief in the past with noise, and performance.
It's crap.

It's a major downgrade performance-wise.

The 9800GT would represent your card (it's just rebranded) don't buy it in any case

I believe my PSU is 400 watts. Windows 7 ultimate 32bit. 4gb of Ram.
Assuming that $100 is your budget, you won't get much better than what you currently have

My budget is whatever card would make my games run well. I don't mind buying a new PSU, and spending 200-300$ on a new card.

full specs, CPU RAM etc

I cant right now, because the pc is in California. I'm getting it back in a month. I have an Acer Aspire E380. I upgraded the ram and video card.
Do note that if you buy a new PSU you should really look into buying some convertor cables (molex to sata and molex to 6-pin) just incase. ;0
