I might give this a shot. I'm more of a singleplayer guy so a giant singleplayer/co-op game with minimal PvP is absolutely alright with me.
I wouldn't give this a shot. From what I saw, they make you pay for just to be on there after level 15. Like how many hours youve been on etc. That is bullshit. I dont like the game that much anyways, but thats pretty shitty.
I'm staying subbed. They had F2P restrictions on the test server, it felt like they chopped off my arm and asked for me to pay them to put it back on.
I mean its fine if you're going to play it for the class stories, that is easy enough to do. Want to do anything else? Its a big Fuck you, pay for this shit.
Staying subbed is a lot easier, and probably cheaper in the long run.

That is not true at all, you can play 1-50 without paying a cent.

It's too limited to the point it's not even worth bothering with almost.

Too bad they ruined The Exile and killed it (I refuse to say her) off in the dumbest way ever. They also retconned KoTOR 2 to hell and back in that book.

the majority of the storylines are shit, make sure you find out which ones are worth playing and which ones aren't.

Jedi Knight, Sith Warrior, Sith inquisitor, and Imperial agent are good... That is just my opinion though.. Imperial agent starting zone is a pain in the ass, because it feels longer than all the other ones.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Imperial Agent storyline. The filler quests were typical MMO grinding and the endgame didn't appeal at all but I had a blast with my story and playing it with friends.
The best part of SWTOR is free to play, I'd recommend atleast trying it.
Looks like I have an excuse to go back and finish my smuggler storyline.
What the fuck is up with Nihilus in that picture? I didn't even know he was in this game. Y'know, cuz, he's been dead for 300 years or so by this point. Anyway I'm probably gonna pick up where I left off on the last free weekend (assuming you can do that).

There is gear you can get in game to look like him via Premium currency.

I wonder if it was EA or Bioware that enforced these restrictions? Likely Bioware, but who knows. Either way, I understand they have to give players at least [i]some[/i] incentives to subscribe and all, but it kinda takes the whole MMO aspect away from you, giving you a free singleplayer RPG but not letting you do pretty much anything with anyone else. I can deal with these kinds of limitations when you're playing a trial up to level 15 ala WoW, but when the game is a self-proclaimed F2P and it eliminates trading and chat? That's ridiculous.

You get preferred if you ever subscribed. Dunno if you get it for just buying the license but I'd guess no.
