I've got this Gigabyte Motherboard

And i want to upgrade my cpu so that i can play GTA IV on my pc. but i dont know which cpu that fits in my socket.
Does this one fit "it's in swedish but i think you guys might know anyway"

Not really a computer related issue, but the correct response is its a P35. So you should be able to use any C2D or C2Q (with proper BIOS flashes of course).

You don't add the GHz together for multiple cores. That's just ridiculous. And it should be able to play GTA4, just match or beat the specs of the Xbox360. Which isn't terribly difficult to do at all.
my phenom II X3 3.6ghz only runs gta max except for shadows and no aa at about 40-50fps, really hungry cpu game

Well to me it sounded like the whole point of upgrading was so you could run GTA. If you're going to get a CPU that can't run it well then there isn't much point.
