• XP pro- bypassing the school block

Hey I'm good with computers and shit, I C++ program stuff(and other things, among programming) but my friend in high school asked me how to get past the school block (St. Bernard). I had no answer so I thought maybe use a practically unknown browser since his school apparently blocks proxy sites too. Anyone wanna give me advice to pass on to him? If just using an unknown browser would work(now that I think about it it probably wouldn't) would flock be unknown enough Edited: So I heard awhile back that you could traceroute the site, get the IP, and go to it, any thoughts?
how are you supposed to bypass a block when you don't even know what it's called
why do you need to do this at school isn't there work thats suposed to be done or something
Tor And we know you don't know C++.
Anyone know how to get around SonicWALL Filter. That shit is bullshit. I'm in the fucking military if I want to go to fuckmylife.com after duty hours on my own personal computer I should be able to.
Again, Tor. [editline]09:07PM[/editline] Just read this http://www.facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=813028

Haha, this is the kid from the YouTube videos called Friday Night Cranks, where he sits with some bitch and calls people. Most of it is pretty unfunny, but this is good: Anyway, Tor. Or, you could make a livecd for an operating system of your choice and enjoy full privileges. Probably could get around a software restriction placed on the PC itself. Also, when you put XP pro somewhere in there, that's when we know you have no clue what you're doing. Dead giveaway when the actual problem is not even related to the operating system in any way, shape, and form. So, please, don't post in the computer illiterates thread if you're not literate yourself.
Tor And we know you don't know C++.
You can believe that, I won't try to make you believe otherwise but I do program a little C++. It's not like I could re-create steam or CS:S or anything but I can. Also; Your solutions have been here for a while, Tor, or a livecd.
Did I not say St. Bernard? Wow. You need to learn to read whole posts.
Because we all know what filter that school uses. Wow.
hey op suck my dick it'll get you past the filter ;) actually if you could code me a program to do it thats be nice
Not tor not tor not tor. Tor is WAY too slow. Use UltraSurf.
Did I not say St. Bernard? Wow. A club in America, dedicated to the dogs mentioned. Things it doesn't mean: A website blocking software.
liveboot into fedora then have fun
liveboot into fedora then have fun
Most blocking software is run on a proxy server and all the connections to the Internet from school LAN go through the server. The funny thing at our school is that there's a proxy server, and you can't change the settings in IE because you're not admin, but the computers also have Firefox and you can access its proxy settings without being admin. Just tell it to not use proxy and win.

I used to update it every now and then, but I havn't needed to since I'm out of school now. I could always upload it if anyone wanted me to.
I personally leave my computer running at home and use TeamViewer to remote desktop control my computer.
I tunnel my connection through a secure SSH tunnel. It took a while to get Putty to authenticate with my school's proxy, but it works!!
With St. Bernard clearly highlighted for all you non-believers.
You mean this?? http://www.stbernard.com/ That's a Professional Enterprise solution, if you can get past that, your school should get a refund for it.
You mean this?? http://www.stbernard.com/ That's a Professional Enterprise solution, if you can get past that, your school should get a refund for it.
So, has your school gotten a refund for Windows yet? Because, quite frankly, where there's code, there's stupidity. Most software ends up being vulnerable at one point of its life or another. And where there's users, there's stupidity too. High school netops aren't exactly the best of the best. Sometimes they're just techies who learned how to setup Novell drive shares and some random web proxy. The proxy could be misconfigured for all you know.

My school uses Smoothwall and it's easy to get past so long as you tunnel through the HTTPS port.
So, has your school gotten a refund for Windows yet?
You know schools only use windows and Mac's, because of retards can't use linux
