• Tensing habit: is it normal?

Well, forever now I've had this weird tensing habit. I mostly tense my neck and sometimes my jaw. This is an involuntary action, I know I'm doing it and I do it because it feels weird if I don't. I'm afraid I'm going to develope tourettes or so shit. Does anyone else have anything like this.
It is normal, I have it everytime when I want to pee
What?
You get tourettes at birth, it's incredibly rare to get it later on in life. i tense up sometime for no reason, probably stress but i don't realize it.

Actually, you do get it at birth, but in most cases people develop tourettes at around 6-10 but you can still get it later. [editline]3rd May 2012[/editline] I'm only 15 by the way.
If it's anything like what I get every now and then you shouldn't worry. I always had the habit to do random shit because I just had to, but after a while I just forgot about it. But hey, i'm not a doctor.
i never had it I think, but I wouldn't say its something really serious
It's just a tick you got from doing it and doing it again until it is a habit. I used to do something similar. It will go away after a while or just try your best to stop doing it.
