The site Sortable.com has just relaunched with a fresh new UI. The idea behind the site is to easily compare different pieces of tech like phones, tablets or TVs against one another in their respective categories and to also show you devices (Top 10) in your budget which can help you a lot when shopping. Let's look at a comparison of the Nokia Lumia 920 vs 820, it shows all the tech specs, features and reviews along with a simple conclusion. It's pretty neat, have a play about with it. Will help with "X or Y" threads round these parts too.
Looks kinda nice but for the most part it just offers basic info/specs and local carriers. That's what many sites already do. Al tough here on this site it is really simplified and easy to use.
Ehh, it suffers from a lot of different faults - I can find many fallacies in the Lumia 920 vs 820 comparison, and in one place it says that the 920 supports flash and the 820 does not - neither do. I can see it being somewhat useful, but I'd argue that smartphones have evolved so much, that like computers you can't just compare specs and say that one is necessarily better than the other.

According to what they said on Facebook anyway.
Only because there are always Apple fanboys proving you wrong with whatever twisted truth.
Or making the perfectly valid argument that just because a phone has the faster processor, doesn't mean it's automatically a better phone.
I asked it for best phones under 600$. First result is Galaxy Nexus, Galaxy S3 is second. Those should be reversed. It has its flaws.
Only because there are always Apple fanboys proving you wrong with whatever twisted truth.
What does this even mean?
I dig the fact that it has a measure for "community" since that's helpful for people buying Android phones, given that the more people own a certain phone, the more reviews on apps for that certain device and the more third-party hacks and firmwares. [editline]4th October 2012[/editline] I also dig the interface and infographs. Are those generated or made manually? As a bit of negative critique, when comparing the D3100, it pitted it against it's succesor and a much better and much more expensive camera. The more expensive camera was always in the center in the bar-graphs, making it seem like it was much worse than other cameras at first.
