I was goin work at a local computer gaming hangout place but they went out of business :(
That sucks. The place in my town opened up about a month ago, I went there regularly, and the owner pulled my over one day and was like, "Would you like to work here? I can't manage it all the time."
I was an admin on a Garry's Mod server. Until it crashed :frown: i miss it
That isn't a job. I still haven't got one, still waiting for my applications to be accepted.
First job was at 16 at an outbound call center. We called random people to give them surveys. Needless to say, it was either suicide or quit.
Mcdoanlds, it was okay, then after a while (3 months) it got boring
I was 14 and I worked as a farmhand on a research farm for $10 dollars an hour along with a $50 bonus for just showing up every day.
At 16 I got a job at a computer repair shop/isp. Some of the customers sucked, but the boss/coworkers were awesome.
Camera man for a baseball camp. I had to make an individual dvd for each kid (150 of them) but i got paid $600 which was good :D Plus all you can eat subway!
My first real, and current job is working as a cashier at the local grocery store. S'all right. Some of the customers can be real assholes, though.
Technician assistant at my college. It's basically being a janitor for electronics, mainly computers, at $10 a hour and a short 10 hours a week. Most of the time I clean computer monitors and keyboards, move equipment (almost always laptops and/or projectors) left and right, go under dusty desks and replug [insert something here]. Sometimes software or hardware is ordered to modify computers, just last month I changed the video cards for the Photography class. This job isn't too enjoyable and it's boring, but hey at least I got money (to dump on expensive textbooks).
