Ares we've known for months now, Killer Frost was announced what, 2 weeks ago?
Put this on pre-order after I played the demo pretty good, If DLC has been spotted already then no doubt there will be a complete edition down the line like MK9 but whatever really
the game is fun, but it's too clunky for me to really get into.
I'm done with day 1 fighting games, give it awhile and it'll be down to $20 with all the DLC.
Otherwise, games not too bad. Just feels way to much like Mortal Kombat at times, I keep waiting for a FINISH HIM at the end of videos.

that's probably because netherrealm developed it
Killer Frost? Alright, but I personally would have gone for Captain Cold if you wanted a ice-based baddie for a fighting game.
(Yeah, there's also Mr. Freeze, but Batman characters kind of overtake and consume DC rosters as it is)
Where the hell is Lobo.
There is one character that needs to be done, if not in the main game then as DLC.
Killer. Moth.
I'm almost positive we'll see Poison Ivy released as a DLC character at some point.

I'd love to see one like this done for Marvel though. I much prefer the Marvel characters. And while MvC are a lot of fun, I'd like to see one done in this style and just for Marvel, not Capcom as well.

Agree I know more marvel heroes then DC but I still ordered this anyway just cause I hardly buy console games and this looks quite good, especially the missions, reminds me of the tower in MK9
Kinda strange how they didnt add Killer Croc IMO

Theres already a fuckton amount of batman characters.
Croc, Two-Face, Scarecrow, Strange, Riddler, and Penguin do appear in the background of some stages.
They totally just reused their Arkham City models.

I don't get how they can have Solomon Grundy but not have Clayface, like wtf he feels like he was always meant to be in a fighting game. Tons of fighters have the crazy stretching shape changing character thing, it would have been perfect

While 2d fighters can have them pull off whatever the hell they want due to essentially being drawings, 3d fighters have to make loads of extra model, texture, and animation data if they want a shapeshifter to look and feel nice and polished.
Shang Tsung isn't even a "true" shapeshifter like Clayface, but completely lost his transformation abilities when the series jumped to 3d and only recently regained a tiny sliver of what he used to be able to do. It simply wasn't possible to have Tsung load and unload so many models and textures without turning any fight he was involved with into a powerpoint presentation.

Theres already an overload of batman characters, but clayface?
They barely managed to do him justice in [sp]Arkham City[/sp] And even then it was like models spawning and growing and shrinking, it wasnt the most smoothest of transitions if i remember correctly.
Next gen consoles, maybe. Current gen, no way in hell.
For clayface you'd need a shit ton of particles to cover up the models clipping in and out of eachother.
