It looks actually rather good. Not entirely simulation, but enough customization and stuff to matter. This is last years version:

In all seriousness though, I've been more interested in NASCAR ever since I looked at its history and know it's more than just turning left slightly. Might pick it up.

Nah, that was NASCAR Thunder 2003.
NASCAR Racing Season 2003 was a PC only sim.
This reminds me of a game I used to play. It was some sort of demo from the dodge website. And it was NASCAR.
