When they say "streaming", are they talking like Steam Link-style streaming? Because if so, that's a little bit of a shame but still intriguing none-the-less. Probably not for me, though.
that's sh, there's no rule list in news node
Oh shit how did I get here.
that's sh, there's no rule list in news node
still though
I hate how shitty my internet is. It's either slow, unstable, or both.
If you read the article like the rules say to do you'd know it's streaming the game from Sony's servers just like Onlive tried and failed to do in the past.
onlive worked well, just the adoption rate was poor. I have high hopes for this
onlive worked well,
What are you talking about, playing any game where you have to aim something at something was horribly delayed
If you read the article like the rules say to do you'd know it's streaming the game from Sony's servers just like Onlive tried and failed to do in the past.
Why did Onlive fail? I remember trying Mass Effect when they had it running and it worked pretty great, the delay wasn't even as bad as my TV with Game mode turned off
This is probably why the xbox game pass is gonna be miles better since they let you download the games.
Except you need an actual Xbox console for it.
Except you need an actual Xbox console for it.
No you don't? It's coming out for PC. [editline]14th March 2017[/editline] At least from what I heard weeks ago it is
No you don't? It's coming out for PC. [editline]14th March 2017[/editline] At least from what I heard weeks ago it is
The media reported it wrong:
"The Xbox One and PC icons appear on the Xbox Game Pass description page because you can redeem on console, web and PC, however, Xbox Game Pass is only available on Xbox One consoles,” said a Microsoft spokesperson.
https://www.pcgamesn.com/xbox-game-pass-pc
onlive worked well, just the adoption rate was poor. I have high hopes for this
OnLive was an atrocity if you didn't have very solid internet though. The delay was bad across the board and there would be times that the servers would falter and send the quality through the floor. PSN's download servers really aren't great at all. I don't see this being too good either.
Not sure why Sony insists on using the streaming service it acquired. Streaming games just doesnt work, they would have made buku dorra if they just sold ps3 games instead of streaming them...
Sony's servers are absolute horse shit. I had to wait over 8 hours for Bloodborne to download with a 100 Mbit connection. I don't see this working out.
What are you talking about, playing any game where you have to aim something at something was horribly delayed
it worked well for me. I think it was just heavily dependent on internet quality. good news is internet is better across the board these days.
it worked well for me. I think it was just heavily dependent on internet quality. good news is internet is better across the board these days.
Maybe, but I could play online games on american servers fine, any ping/delay was nothing compared to what onlive gave me
I was able to play games through OnLive fine with a 15/1 connection. Maybe once an hour it would shit itself for a few seconds but I was able to play AAA games with a core i3 and Intel graphics.
Maybe, but I could play online games on american servers fine, any ping/delay was nothing compared to what onlive gave me
there's more to internet quality than ping
there's more to internet quality than ping
There was nothing wrong with my internet connection that could've tampered with the stream delay at that time. It was just bad.
Were there even servers near you?
