I am hoping someone on Facepunch here can scare the crap out of me, make me have nightmares, because I miss these fucking nightmares!
Cheese.
Kill your parents, that will probably do the trick.
easy maze
Watch some horrific videos.
smile.jpg, slenderman, postal's ass, etc.
Read stories about aliens n ghosts n shit, or look at 'real' pictures of them, watch actually scary movies, play amnesia/dead space at 3 in the morning, then try going to sleep i have done all the above, but just had trouble getting to sleep, not actually sleeping

Go lucid in a dream and look at a mirror.
Go lucid in a dream and look at a mirror.
I did that once. It was freaky but didn't really qualify as a nightmare.
Sidenote: I am not easily scared. So all of the suggestions above did not work (I tried similar things). Thanks though.

You have to watch the MOST horrific videos.

Watch Alien. It may make you have a facehugger nightmare. But whatever.
Go lucid in a dream and look at a mirror.
What happens? You see some scary shit or what?
go for a walk in the woods in the dead of night. your mind will start to play tricks on you
No woods nearby.
what, gore? that shit just makes you queasy, not nightmare-prone
If you get over the gore factor, the care factor kicks in and you will feel sorrow and pain for them.
What happens? You see some scary shit or what?
Yeah, you'll see some very weird shit.
What happens? You see some scary shit or what?
I saw myself but a freakish dead version staring at me. Can't tell you how awesome it was. First and only lucid dream so far.
If you get over the gore factor, the care factor kicks in and you will feel sorrow and pain for them.
not going to have nightmares feeling sorry for people are you and oddly enough i don't often feel sorry for them until i hear a backstory, just the animals provoke immediate empathetic reactions in me
Have someone knock you out and drag you into a field 20 miles away in the middle of the night without a cell phone.
not going to have nightmares feeling sorry for people are you and oddly enough i don't often feel sorry for them until i hear a backstory, just the animals provoke immediate empathetic reactions in me
Do that then. [editline]15th November 2010[/editline] Or ALIEN :smug:
Well fuck it, I am going to sleep now. Hope I'll have some batshit insane nightmares.
Go fight a hopeless war for your country for 10 years.
Go lucid in a dream and look at a mirror.
Why do people say looking at mirrors in a dream is bad? I've done it before and nothing happens, the mirror just acts like a mirror.
I love having a nightmare before school because I have no troubles whatsoever to get up in the morning when I've had one :v:
Why do people say looking at mirrors in a dream is bad? I've done it before and nothing happens, the mirror just acts like a mirror.
nnnnnnope
