If this is for gaming, also get 2gb more of RAM. 6/10.

Also i don't need 4GB of RAM right now, 2GB of DDR3 1333Hz will be suficent to my needs, i'll get another 2GB later. Edit: 450W or 500W PSU doesn't make any big difference, i'll upgrade PSU if it will be needed.
You don't need DDR3 for anything but an i7 build, it's not worth the extra money. You need a different PSU because the one you chose will blow up. 4GB of DDR2 RAM will last you until you upgrade until i7 and will cost the same as 2GB of DDR3. [editline]07:11PM[/editline] Where the hell are you buying from?
WHY can't i have DDR3 without i7?
It's not worth it,you gain no speed from DDR2 when on a Core series and lower. Stop bitching and listen to people.
WHY can't i have DDR3 without i7?
You can, but it's worthless. There's no performance increase over DDR2, it costs more, and the timings are terrible.
Cooler Master makes nice PSUs too.
They're so so.
You are making a huge misstake choosing that psu. According to reviews it blows up if you try and squeeze more then 360W from it.
I'm sorry, at first i thought that you where an idiot but after reading some reviews about my PSU that my friend showed to me.... They actually DO blow-up O.o I still don't get it people, show me some benchmarks of something, why wouldn't i get any performance boost if i use DDR3 without i7?
http://ixbtlabs.com/articles3/cpu/ddr2-800-vs-ddr3-1333.html About 1% difference, and that's with both having 2GB.
Oh, That kind of sucks, i already ordered my PC parts so i can't order DDR2 or something...crap.
Which is why you should ask before ordering.
DDR2-1066MHz with very tight timings is the best choice for RAM. DDR3 is shit for the Core 2's, you wont get the bandwidth you would like.

But 5xxx series coming out soon so should just wait for that.

it's alright but i would get another processor and graphics card
Could've gotten a 4870.
Could've gotten a 4870.
No offence ATI people but i will NEVER buy a ATI graphic card again. I had 3 of them and i had some kind of fuck up with them all while NVIDIA cards worked perfectly for me (and they have PhysX). P.S. About DDR3 RAM, it's still kinda good RAM and it wasn't much more expensive than equal DDR2 (maybe 10% extra) and it will come in handy when i'll upgrade to i7 (new motherboard and crap)
You must have done something wrong.
Buying them
Why the fuck are all the mods letting through all these retard fanboys?
Ya, is the don't be a fanboy bit even in the sticky?
I don't recall ReznorT being a fanboy.
Buying them
I think i have to agree with this man.

To OP Stop being a fanboy AND LISTEN!!! DDR3 is NOT worth in on a core2* build, and ATM Ati is best bang for the buck. And you also ordered your parts while asking us for help, Why did you ask for help in the first place then?? Might be my personal opinion, but that's fucking retarded :colbert:

ATi has nothing wrong with their cards, PhysX isn't a special feature for nVidia, its just drivers. This guy successfully messed with the PhysX drivers, and got them to work with ATi.
